Minister - John Crawford
John was born in the Dingle area of Liverpool 1949, where he lived during his childhood before moving to Woolton when 13 years old. After leaving school at 15 years of age he served his time as an apprentice business machine mechanic, leaving when 20 years old. He then worked as a transport driver, rising to foreman until 1984 when he left due to damaging his legs after falling off the back of a wagon in an accident.
John became a Christian in 1979, and worshipped and served in Christ Church Netherley in various capacities such as Church warden and Centre Manager, only leaving in 2008 to work in Trinity Church. His wifes name is Kathy and they have one daughter Victoria, a son in law Richard and four grandchildren; Jessica, James, Daniel and Charlotte.
Childrens and Youth Worker - Leanne Kays
Leanne, was born in Mill Road hospital in 1989. She was brought up in Page Moss with her 2 older sisters and younger brother, attending Park View primary school and later Bowring Comprehensive in the area.
Leanne attended Kidz Klub as a child and TNT as a teenager and, after becoming too old to attend, she volunteered for 14 years! She became a Christian at the age of 16.
Leaving school in 2005, she went on to working in the care sector until 2010. Leanne then took part in the Xplore Christian gap year with Church Army, which led her away from Liverpool. After spending 3 months training in Sheffield she embarked on her placement over in Sydney Australia! On returning Leanne returned to care work for the next few years, until she felt she was being called to work at Trinity - after working as Children's and Youth worker on a temporary basis from early 2015 she applied for the full time role and got the job. And that's where we're up to on this journey!
